Stat rosa pristina nomine

Stat rosa pristina nomine

Installation, Human figure, Various materials, Plastic, 50x80x30cm, 2012
"Stat rosa pristina nomine, nomina nuda tenemus" translates approximately as "Yesterday's rose endures in its name, we hold empty names". The general sense, as Umberto Eco pointed out, was that from the beauty of the past, now disappeared, we hold only the name.
