The work was constructed by modeling and reversing time-laps footage of the Ark Hotel in China, a 15 storey building that was completed in 48 hours. The video is a metaphor for an imagined city, built by the process of it’s deconstruction. The concept extended from looking at OMA’s research conducted in 1996, and the necessity of exploring Hyperbuildings, 'self-contained cities designed to preserve the environment, and localize the proximity between home and work.'
