Reclaimed prosthetic limbs, steel, leather, fishnet, nylon. Resins: male sex toys, Moldovan coins, children’s toys, sweets. Cushion: Machine and hand embroidered silk with beading, wire and leather straps.

Chairs have a particularly intimate relationship with the human body, and viewers are encouraged to sit in the Sex Cafe chair and engage with the drilled and shackled legs, juxtaposed by resins inlaid with male sex toys and childhood objects.

I have been inspired by the works of Cindy Sherman, Hans Bellmer, Tracey Emin, Allen Jones and Marlene Dumas.
