The sea brings all sorts of change - and the undeniable power of the sea, sweeps into the out-dated empire-loving woman whose habits and manners are rooted in the 19th century. The sea as a feature of nature must be respected. It may also offer a helping hand as our friend if it can bring a partial solution to our human need for energy when harnessed by technology. I mean to convey a sense of finality of consequence for those who cannot deal with a total environmental change. With apologies to Luca Cambiaso, who has inspired the figure on the left.
