The painting aims at emphasizing the idea that it is necessary to pass through this “stop sign” that keep us stuck in our individualist and egoistic view of the human condition, far from being, as it should, that of a multiplicity of individuals, each of them unique but coexisting with all others in symbiosis on and with the Earth.
Men, instead, will play with Earth and spoil it till the marble smashes into pieces.
