Primal Energy International Art Prize 2012
Gad Art Factory creator of the Primal Energy project, in association with Tuscany Region, the Province of Grosseto, Town of Orbetello, Chamber of Commerce of Grosseto, Museum System of Maremma and MiC- Maremma in Contemporanea, circuit for Maremma Contemporary Art, presents the Second Edition of Primal Energy 2012 - International Art Prize

The purpose of the event is:

e46; communicate, disseminate and share with other artists a special modus creandi, oriented and inspired inextricably, in the totality of expression, strength and energy that comes from deep within the individual's relationship with Nature;

e46; intercept artists from around the world who recognize this principle and want to build over time a "center of excellence" for an international art community, who wants to do research in this area;

e46; enhance the binding of Contemporary Art / Enterprise.

A very important exposition will be set up by the competition, grouping together the twenty (20) finalists and the only one winner among them.


The 2012 theme is :

"Contemporary Roots" -Materials, techniques and symbols of the past
in the artistic expression of contemporary-

The focus of the award is concentrated on researching the roots of the contemporary:
a journey back in time, in the connections of history,
through culture, materials, techniques and symbols of the past,
prime matter and essence of the contemporary art expressions.

The metaphor of "ROOTS" as the source of all things, through the four elements of Nature,
AIR, WATER, EARTH and FIRE, reality and substance of all the significant events.
