Violaine BLANCHET born in France in 1980, the young artist lives and works in the region of Gard (30) at Aigues- Vives. Graduated in ceramic decoration in St Victor les Oules in 2003, she realizes intriguing sculptures in ceramic, sometimes strange but always very stunning about the subject: „women“ and inspired by their everyday life. The artist has participated in many events and art fairs where she has received a lot of distinctions and prizes.
„OKTOBERFEST“ is inspired by the Beer Festival in Munich! The sculpture is done in white faience enameled and decorated with liquid gold.
„Ophelia“ is a second life-sized sculpture that will be shown together with several other smaller sculptures done by the artist.
