The great diversity of the Asian continent is also evident in its contemporary art scene. Thus, we have
invited artists from the Middle and Far East – the festival presents a selection of ten artists with very
different approaches to contemporary art. The exhibition will feature installations by two
Vietnamese artists, Tiffany Chung and Trong Gia Nguyen, photographs by Chinese artist Chen Nong,
very interesting works by two female Arab artists from the United Arab Emirates, Hind Bin
Demaithan and Maitha Demithan, videos by India's representative at last year's Venice Biennale Gigi
Scaria, works by Japanese artist Kensuke Koike, and the European premiere of the Indian-
Singaporean-Australian theatrical production Infinite Saree, Biological Arts Theatre. The presentation
of the Asian Pavilion will be completed with a light art performance by Chinese artist Zoie So.
