Siena Art Institute

Visiting artist at the Siena Art Institute until September 15th, poet Jo Shapcott will share her work with the StARTers audience during the opening conversation of our fall lecture series. Born in London, Jo Shapcott recently represented Great Britain in the Poetry Parnassus, a huge festival of poetry in London which invited a poet from every country represented at the Olympic Games. She also wrote a site specific poem, “'Wild Swimmer'”, for “Winning Words”, the series of poetry installations in the Olympic Park.
