Wednesday, July 11, at the site of "The Court, photography and search" in the Swabian Castle of Bari, exhibition Landscapes / Passagges Francesca Loprieno, curated by Carlo Garzia.

Along the two side walls in an almost symmetrical two series of diptychs, first images from cutting-poetic mythology, the sea nymphs who saggiano destroy or written words, fishermen always waiting, Fates who spin the thread of human existence; other hand, opaque and confusing images, taken from the window of a local train, raindrops or stains that filter almost everyday visual experience of the trip.

These experiences of repetition, with an unintentional humor are those commuters, are like a metronome that regularly punctuates daily life of thousands of people and adjusts the viewing experience for a stretch of landscape.

Between opacity and transparency (double, the mirror, the reflection, the shadow) is being built near the site-specific experience, as the saying goes, Francesca Loprieno, an emerging young photographer still in the balance between a metaphysical and the everyday troubles of an individual identity and even generational boundaries blurred and indecisive, being or not being, or rather to see or not see, as testified by his research since the early exhibitions.

The exhibition will remain open throughout the summer and is accompanied by a tense and critical timeline of Mary Vinella and metacritico of a text editor, built as a bricolage of fragments of various kinds of writing, truisms, quotes, exchange postal correspondences.
