Parts of machines that fill dented and deformed cans of oils and gasoline, scrap civilization allegedly omnipotent, remains of a dream and false consciousness. And by extension what remains of a love affair over ... colored bruises.

Waiting the colors of a second half existing with statistic probability

My work, an object of Industrial Archaeology, focus the attention onto cultural products for survival: geological finds of a recent civilisation, the industrial one. This work, rigorously pastel painted, is a totem, neglected mechanical parts abandoned to indifference. The support material is presented as fragile, recycled cardboard, as meagre as the oppressive isolation of the object.
In this ambivalent scene of force and fragility is the harmonious result of the mix where the support is not only the place of evocation but becomes expressive material that transforms itself into light and colour.The cardboard is a re-cycled packaging box, where the surface film is removed to show the "paper" wave under it.
