WOMAN OF WATER From water that creates life itself rises the female profile. Element and Life melt together, the female landscape embody pleasure, softness, power and lightness. Life spouts from the inner.

Forever children, with a bold gesture. The challenge of the force of gravity, the miracle of balance, suggested by the same, delicate form of glass. Stubbornness and amazement, accompanies one of the most common games: an work as a metafhor of the obstacles to be overcome in life. Towards new"possibili traiettorie".

The man and the river accompany it, side by side in a silent way. A constant give-and-take of large promises, thoughts, dropouts and research. Each shiny mirror surface, a tangle of emotions deep inside.

A woman working at a loom: “ The first time I entered Zopfi… was on my 14th birthday… but my mother had been working in the textile mill since 1914 when she was only 12 years old ” ; women and young girls which after a brief apprenticeship began to work on the machines, on the spinning wheels and on the looms. An opera that tells a story, a different ‘story’ because it is unwritten, dismissed, and ordinary and perhaps for these very reasons, finally worthy of being narrated. A visual and vibrant poetry, where sensations and sentiments merge, like the complex and fascinating pre-fusions which give life to Nives’ unique creations.

Pepita 1
A ‘soft’ form of glass, originating from a complex procedure, which delivers its message through its green hue, its transparency and by its subtle shades of a fresh puddle: enclosed by the light this opera radiates, a precious nugget, daily dreams of many gold seekers. In the attempt to reach this symbol of grandeur, we immerge ourselves into limpid waters, unknowingly discovering something far more precious than gold: water, life.
Pepita, is an opera with the metaphor of searching into others qualities that they themselves do not posses ignoring what is really possessed

That Kiss
On the tracks of a sentiment, a memory fluctuates into matter, where there is silence and light. Memories of that kiss, possessed for ever in that glass mass, where the red that has been imprisoned, underlining the turmoil of a heart

Suspended Games-In the early'900 a lot of children in Europe had to prematurely suspended their games in order to wotk in texile factories. Even nowadays the age of games is threatened by a destiny of work and exploitation for many of the word's children.
