The human made mark covers many things. Presented here a look through the mark from the inside looking out. The viewer becomes the support.

We humans believe we have logical and rational minds. Those minds have created many different systems through which we live our lives. When we apply the system it becomes a construct. A construct is inherently artificial the opposite of natural. I do during my daily trips see something I would call nature, and the painted marks would speak to the artificiality of all I observed. The trees I photograph are not so much trees but objects marked by humans. The very concept of a tree as a part of nature becomes ironic when it was marked, or tagged for some reason.

As a trained observer I often can catch the space between the spaces. On this day I clicked the Holga shutter release and perhaps found a myth right on the street before me.
