(OPERA) The Bosquet Windows Project is designed by a semiotician-photographer and an architect. Accordingly, the project is intended from birth to flourish both at the heart of the city and into the art world. The structure itself shows this duality. On the one hand, this is a multiple composition of different frames built to support canvases. On the other hand, this composition is set on a grand façade overlooking a busy crossroads.
The point is, the structure is not simply a massive exhibition : to address the issue of the crossroads being very busy, hence noisy, the structure is designed to absorb the sound instead of sending it back from the bare façade in the usual way. The crossroads become not only less noisy but also beautiful.
