Anna Paola Pizzocaro tells us, with her incredible images, a tale that is a dreamlike journey through reality and fantasy. A tiny human figure awakens and , through a mirror, sees violent floods in her house, as a kind of great flood that pours on the Earth as a demonstration of God's fury unleashed by human wickedness.
In this parallel universe a man and a woman are involved in a "Journey-flood" where seea lions, flamingos, monkeys, pandas, polar bears and many other species are afraid to look around, immersed in a real world that increasingly flooded by a virtual one.
By a parallelism with the Ark of Noah, the house becomes the ark, a metaphor of the real world, in which is contained the world life. In the dream, the only one able to be saved is the human "the only animal that can adapt and survive in the world he creates", says the artist.

Stanze inondate dall’acqua in cui si ritrovano immersi animali e persone, scatti di interni quasi surreali che diventano stargate dimensionali tra mondo reale e mondo virtuale dove uomini e donne insieme a orsi, tigri, leoni, pinguini, meduse, fenicotteri, scimmie sono alla ricerca della propria salvezza. Chi riuscirà a salvarsi?
Le immagini fotografiche, rivisitate dall’artista milanese attraverso tecniche digitali di post-produzione e ritocchi manuali o pittorici, raccontano dell’alienazione contemporanea dell’uomo che si crea mondi e paradisi paralleli che alla fine non sa più dominare. La tecnologia prende il sopravvento sul buon senso e la natura si ribella. L’uomo deve affrontare le sue responsabilità verso madre natura, prima che sia troppo tardi
