Today we live in a "objectified society", where techne takes control of the psyche. This domain gives rise to interpersonal relations, "post-modern man" measures by means of "techno-consumerist system" where objects are now "logos."
We can ask ourselves: Are we still living the Age of 'Being" or that of 'Have"?

Performance - Political / SocialQuest'opera è una riflessione sul ruolo dell'artista e sul valore dell'arte nella nostra "società dello spettacolo", ma soprattutto del consumismo.
Oggi il ruolo dell'artista sembra o è"scaduto" non soltanto per il pubblico fruitore, ma anche (e bisogna dirlo) per le gallerie e tutto il sistema che è dietro o gestisce esse, cioè critici, curatori ecc.
Non voglio accusare ( o forse si?) ma le gallerie sono divenute negozi che affittano spazio o muro.Chi gestisce il sistema dell'arte (critici ,curatori, promotori di concorsi ecc.)sono per la maggior parte (salvo qualcuno, ma molto poco) legati al loro nucleo di amicizie che molte volte porta a chiamare (perchè no) il sistema dell'arte un "Sistema Mafioso".
Ecco perchè la performance "Scad-Art" è totalmente auto-gestita, oppure, auto-prodotta dall'artista. Inoltre la performance si svolge nell'ambiente urbano dove l'artista stesso tenta di diventare "attore sociale" per uscire dal guscio della camera studio privata e delle gallerie private o pubbliche.

Questa performance si svolge a Firenze capitale del Rinascimento, ma oggi divenuta una "città negozio".
La performance è durata 130 minuti in cui l'artista ha sponsorizzato autonomamente la sua opera "scad-art" esponendosi in tutti i luoghi più importanti del patrimonio urbano fiorentino .

La performance "Scad-Art" nasce dalla constatazione che l'arte è scaduta.
Perché l'arte è scaduta?Perché ogni opera d'arte è tale fino a quando non entra nel circuito economico,e se vi entra diventa un oggetto di consumo intrappolato nel girone del mercato.
Perché un'opera è“Arte”solo durante la sua creazione,una volta finita entra a far parte“dell'Orror Pleni”della“società dello spettacolo”,dove il troppo sovraccarico di immagini spegne la psiche critica del fruitore per creare “l'effetto blasè”.
Perché molte tecniche artistiche sono considerate come“passato”,solo perché dobbiamo seguire il girone infernale del “disagio prometeico” quello creato dalla tecnocrazia .
Perché molti artisti pensano che la novità del mezzo sia la novità del messaggio.
Perché molti artisti hanno aperto le multinazionali dell'Arte.
Perché molti artisti non creano nemmeno più Arte.

Ecco perché in quest'opera troviamo un'etichetta dov'è segnata la data di creazione dell'opera e della sua fine, fine intesa come scaduta.
“Scad- Art” è un logo perché in questa società bisogna che anche l'artista abbia il suo marchio per essere acquistabile e riconoscibile.
L'arte è scaduta! e anche il suo messaggio di cambiamento sociale!?

Ps:Quello che avete letto su è la spiegazione dell'opera.
Vorrei chiarire un'ultima cosa.
Quest'opera vuole mettere in evidenza che la crisi economica, sociale, politica , culturale ecc, ha trasformato il ruolo dell'artista in un semplice produttore di oggetti, l'unico modo per uscirne( a mio parere) è rivoluzionare il modo che l'artista usa per farsi sentire e mettere in evidenza che l'unica cosa importante oggi per l'artista è la creazione che porta all'Esser-ci fuggendo dall'Avere.

We are guided by an "pointillist time" where everything expires continuously.
This work is a " consumption product " where I put image trasmitted by media ( environmental catastrophe,porn,war,poverty,gossip,african rebellion,publicity,reality show,political,football,singers etc.) Every image have on its back a letter.
Is information a "alphabetical-food" that does not create opinion, but conformism ?

This work was born from the observation that we are coming to our land "perfect crime" .

We are going on asphalting and polluting " Mother Nature" ,we will come to define it "endangered product".

multinationals will start ( or they started yet) selling us our land as “masse product ”.

consumption system will transform this "common eco product" in a goods to be sold in supermarket all around the world.

The question to put seems to be : have we arrive or will we arrive to the censorship of the land as common good?

( for censorship i mean that land will be or still is no more a common good and it will be or still is mastered only by a small élite. will we destroy it?)

These new communication system seem to approach and in the same time to push away places where our real life take place. Interaction with other people, without which the self of each can't be defined, is no more an interpersonal communication having as his matter the knowledge of self.

title was born from some questions:
can we believe that self and world knowledge can happen through social networks?
when we communicate through social-networks are we truly ourselves or we are building virtual masks?
when we add pictures,song, lyrics, poetry ecc are we showing ourselves for what we are or we’re just drawing up a list of ingredients to create a product of mass consumption

Performance - Political / SocialThis title originates from the statement according to which art is lapsed.
Why is it lapsed? Because each work of art stops being “art” as soon as it takes part in the economic system where it becomes a consumer product.
A work can be considered as “art” only during the process of its creation. After that, it becomes an “Orror Pleni” element of the show society, where a great amount of images stifles the spectator’s critic abilities creating, in this way, the so called “blasé effect”.
Many artistic techniques are considered as obsolete, only because we are obliged to follow the infernal circle of the “Promethean discomfort” created by technocracy.
Many artists think that the novelty of the means corresponds to the novelty of the messages.
Many artists have created multinationals of art.
Many artists don’t create art any more.

These are the reasons why in this work of art we can see an etiquette indicating the date of its creation and the date of its end, of its being lapsed.
“Scad-art” (lapsed art) is a logo, which is necessary for the contemporary artist in order to be recognized and, consequently, bought.

What is the new deadly sin of emptiness?

It is the new generation behavioural mental attitude towards life, which I would define as “passive nihilism”.
Young people live in a liquid world where it is impossible to find the solid sense of life and they become victims of solitude, of a sort of “inner echo”.
They wear the commercial mask sold by the “show society”, hiding a model of life devoid of emotions and reference marks which most of them find in the “group”, becoming in this way homologated and drug addicts in order to annihilate their heart which is in need of love.
It is the passive acceptance of life, a sort of “conformist inertia” towards an obsolete social space.
It is the impossibility for young people to structure a coherent experience leading to the “individuation”.
It is the virus which the old generation has transmitted to the new one: the little esteem the future resource has been held in.
The young people are this resource.

Being is reduced to possession.
World is not considered as a mimetic relationship between man and nature.
On the contrary, nature is victim of a perfect crime in order to create a packaged and conformist world.
A nihilist attitude towards all our experiences and, as a consequence, towards each object and subject is characteristic of our way of living just because we think that only what we define as new can give us a definition of identity, social status, freedom and prosperity.
In this way we give life to the so-called appearance society imposed by the contemporary technological, economic and productive system which, through advertising, disseminates fashion canons which introduce us in a vicious circle made of false needs.
We are under the impression that we are able to love ourselves only if we possess and to hate ourselves if we don’t possess.
It’s the creation of a liquid world where the everlasting changes make the individual incapable of recognizing his own ego.
Each human experience turns into a commercial experience.
We believe to be free only because we think everything is reversible but in this sort of show we are unable to choose freely.
