BIENNALE AUSTRIA, a non-profit- organisation, was founded in 2005 by Mag. Christian Landsfried, Andreas Westermeyer and Elisabeth Rass.
The BIENNALE AUSTRIA web portal, a project of the BIENNALE AUSTRIA - Verein zur Förderung zeitgenössischer KünstlerInnen, is a door outward and to each other.
According to a big search engine ca. 4,330.000 online galleries are represented in the world wide web. On many online galleries artists can present their artwork, but that's all. An unmanageable quantity, each one a dust particle, for the inquiring eye an universe.
Not only that we link artists, curators, artists organisations, culture and art institutions and associations, exhibition managers, galleries, museums, culture managers, culture media, journalists and all those, who are interested in art an culture, but we also offer a wide range of services which are continuously developing.
