An international contemporary art prize and a network for arts professionals
Arbeitsgemeinschaft für zeitgemässen Blickfang or AfzB is an international pool of visual artists, dancers and musicians. And that means the group and its individual members are always interested in cooperation. Formed in 2006 in Neumünster in Northern Germany to realize the 'total art' project 'die fenster des detlev sierks - hauptsächlich ein saxophonkonzert', a work still in progress, just like the group's second 'total art' project 'a propos l'histoire du pirates de florence'.
AFzB is about musical improvisation or instant composing or extemporising or whatever you want to call it. And visuals in the broadest meaning of the word.
Subdivisions of AfzB are: Städtische Philharmonie Sankt Isengrim, Zukuri, Forschungsinstitut für anomalische Realmusik and Aeri Temperando.
