REGARDING MY LIVE VJ MIXES WITH DJS/MUSICANS:

The mixes that I have on Vimeo (as of date) are from my VJ events in Switzerland where I play to 4 DJs from 4-5 hours roughly non-stop.

Before the event, I search for the performers music on the internet, to get an idea of the type of music. Then I prepare a video deck in my software with video that I think will be appropriate for each performer. I also try to arrange the video in a narrative-sense.

During the live event, I have no idea what music the performer will play nor where they will go with the music, and thus when I mix live, I attempt to keep up visually with their music and transitions.

At times I take breaks to videotape and photograph these same performers and the spectators, then make a video promo of the event afterwards for my promoter:
