"The job of Sam Punzina is, from the technical point of view, dense as the used enamels and therefore it possesses a tactile quality that makes him/it live to the border between painting and sculpture. The characteristic dripping of the artist emerges from the surface and as thick subject reveals him, that however it maintains an ethereal and poetic lightness. The tones in fact, even though intense, acids and almost psychedelic, they fall the spectator in a dimension fiabesca; here the automatic and instinctive writing of Punzina creates signs biomorfi, that develops him and they composes according to architectures to the border between chaos and awareness. An eccentric nature is evoked that fascinates at the same time, it reassures and uneasy, because it blooms under the form of the synthetic one and the artificial one"
