A guardare il cielo si diventa cielo
What interests me is to move towards a control of the pictorial language, independently from the choice of the subject, which often becomes a pretext, without necessarily worrying about a full control over the concept inherent in my work, working instead to build a clear path for research on the limits inherent in the language.
The work "A guardare il cielo si diventa cielo" is an example of this attitude: it is a work born after a series of other paintings made by stratification time where I would treat the same subject, repeating and empty the contents of the initial expectation, the image has taken on an identity of its own, divorced from what is my will to handling. This has become another thing from the initial source of study, from my need to convey a clear message and my "know-how". This is what more than anything else interests me at this moment: find a new identity to a recurring imagery.
