"Exile n. 8"

"Exile n. 8"

“Exile is the inexorable condition lived by those who are isolated from their own origins of belonging, people who are immersed in the “liquid society”, prisoners of a sense of detachment from themselves and from others.

“Exile n. 8” represents the metamorphosis of a woman who feels she is in communication with her innermost self only when she comes into contact with her own suffering, her own disillusionment, her own fear.

So the woman portrayed chooses to free herself from any type of reference, and return to follow her most primordial and brutal instincts. She will become like a drop of water in an ocean: indistinguishable and vulnerable.”
