When she came back from the past.

My practise is a work of investigation into memory. I am interested on learning how the past appears in the present in the form of images and how close to reality those images come back from the past. How much images help us to retrieve memories from the past?
Do images we remember change with the past of time? Do we transform those images influenced by our living experiences?
But What is memory, how does it work and how is it created? Do early memories affect us and stay in our subconscious forever?
