Frankfurt is worldwide not known for its exquisite cuisine, its cosmopolitan citizens or its charming flair. This actually small town is known more for its large airport, which is seperated from the municipal area by the Frankfurt city forest, the largest of its kind in Germany. A beautiful recreational area with small lakes, various sources, hiking, trails, etc. At least twice a week, I’m having a walk there with my dog.

Since the expansion of the airport runaways, nearly every minute planes are shattering this idyll.

FRA is an aesthetic documentation of a permanent headache.
