ABAR 7038 "My Obsession"

The last few years have seen me engaged in a constant search on the expressive possibilities of color. In fact, I have focused my attention on the ability to communicate emotionally through the dynamic force generated by chromatic interactions. In this context, I have developed my work trying to draw from both my experience as a photographer as well as the one purchased later in the field of painting with acrylics.
Sometimes my compositions originate from ideas I pick up from photos earlier elaborated through a digital process but in any case the ultimate goal remains that to create a work that is sufficient to itself by expressing in a direct and instant way a personal view about the throbbing of life which springs from everywhere.
Moreover the employ of a thick layer of matter permits me to make a pliable sub stratum which I use to emphasize the dynamics and expressive impulse of my works.
