La Musa - Ritratto di Raphaello Sanzio

Who, among artists, cannot learn something by copying a master? And what artist can ever be satisfied by such an attempt? That is my dilemma in copying this self portrait by Raphael Sanzio. This is not the Uffizi portrait, but a lesser known ( though in my opinion superior) portrait that has once again surfaced in the art world. I will go easy on myself and not point out what I consider to be the inconsistencies of my copy. Instead I will have to be satisfied that I now have my very own Raphael.
