Chi non arriva
“Chi non arriva” is dedicated to all those who die trying to cross the Channel of Sicily. The little gilt oval frames, assembled in a geometrical shape, give sacredness to fragments of lost lives, here represented by relief surfaces recalling poor wet rags as well as the mobility of the sea.
A glimmer of hope is enclosed in gradual changes of colours that, starting from the bloody red below, end in deep blue, retracing the inevitable road leading all human beings across earthly life up to what will be, whatever it may be.
