VIVERE IN ALLEGRIA Tra i giochi e i colori del mondo da Pinocchio Update 2007 di Raffaella Del Giudice

If you're interested in contemporary art and creative reinterpretations of literary classics, don't miss the opportunity to visit Raffaella Del Giudice's exhibition

Saturday, October 4

Art forms lend themselves to the service of contemporaneity, revealing the modern contradictions of a society that seems to have lost its primordial inclination for good.

Living joyfully "among the games and colors of the world" is the new work of an artist who has made the fusion of styles and techniques her signature brand.

In her solo exhibition, inaugurated Monday the 8th and open until September 30th at the eCampus University (in the "Villaggio del Fanciullo" spaces) in Bari, Raffaella Del Giudice exhibits a collection of vector illustrations from her unpublished work, PINOCCHIO UPDATE, published in 2007 in an academic context.

This complex and meticulous work has occupied the artist for approximately two years and represents a unique achievement in her field.

These 21 vector illustrations were created with full respect for the long and demanding timeframes of experimentation and research.

The exhibition was curated by art critic Elena Beloborodova and Massimo Diodati, President of the "Noi che l'Arte" association.

"Raffaella Del Giudice, throughout her long artistic career, has always made social commentary through her works," commented Rosanna Pucciarelli, Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari, "and this exhibition also confirms the sensitivity of an artist who is both skilled with paintbrushes and equally adept with digital media. Del Giudice uses technology in a wide variety of ways, and we can classify her among the most accomplished contemporary artists, especially from Puglia," concludes the expert professor and art critic.

The exhibition will be presented in schools in the province of Bari and will also be open to the public on Saturday, October 4th, at the artist's headquarters at Via Guido de Ruggiero 1 in Bari (afternoon opening hours to be confirmed, 3:00-7:00 PM). This exhibition is part of the 21st Contemporary Art Day, an event that AMACI (Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums) has dedicated to contemporary art and its audience since 2005. The event is organized with the support of the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
