Untitled (WP series)
Wall painting series.
Each work show an empty rectangular field framed by chaotic and random paint splashes. Each work has some different parametres decided by the artist, color, shape, size, made to fit it to the spacial and conseptual context where it is made.
The empty field can either be seen as:
- something been taken away –a painting.
- something covering up the center of the wall painting.
- and in some of the wall paintings: the colors mixed produce white, like in white light
WP series can be seen as a response to the situation in painting after modernism and as a general image of changes in ideology and traditions. The empty field both shows a lack – something missing – and new opportunities.
