Rhythm of Life

Through this work, I wish to discuss the relationship between the media with its audience. I intent to display plus revive the magic, or, the “trick” of the image. Through photography and editing, a clump of terribly mashed meat turns into a lively fish. This way, from death to birth, from emptiness to existence, the slaughter flips 180 degrees into a work of “creation”. This game of fraud pervades our daily encounters with television, the news, and the movies, and yet most audiences devour such images without second thought, they easily take them for real. Accordingly, in the same measure, why can’t we simply believe in this “rebirth” happening right in front of our eyes?
