Young artists research in Brescia
Exhibitions, Italy, Brescia, 09 April 2011
Five artists are the protagonists of the 2011 edition of the show dedicated to the younger artistic presence in the city of Brescia.
This exhibition has no theme, but its aim is to explore what's new in the panorama, trying to pull together different phenomenons without preconception or detachment.
Among these five, Camilla Franzoni has her own peculiar language, basically aniconic with references from Klee to Constructivism, from Manzoni to the Op Art, but even related to concrete and ordinary actuality.
To explicit her way of seeing and doing art she mint the definition of "Primal Abstractionism": the target is to erase rationality in the process of creation, to strive to a deeper level of consciousness of the self which can explode on the canvas in an almost unconditional gesture.
