The purpose of the event is to introduce the public, especially of schools, the activity of protection of cultural heritage.
The exhibition was conceived and curated by Dorian and Cara Claudia Sonego, sponsored by the Superintendence for Architectural Heritage of Milan, was made possible thanks to the valuable collaboration of the Commando Carabinieri Tutela Patrimonio Culturale.
In the halls of the prestigious Palazzo Arese Borromeo were exposed blowups of some of the works of art recovered by the Commando Carabinieri Tutela Patrimonio Culturale, stolen and returns.
The exhibition examines different aspects of the stolen work of art, considering the clandestine excavation, forgery, theft of Church property, both public and private.
