Italy. Basilicata. Matera and its lands
Workshops , Italy, Matera, 30 May 2004
The Matera lands' were part of the personal possessions of the Byzantine Basileus, the emperor who resided at Constantinople.
Their beauty has remained intact for more than a thousand years, preserving undulations, lesser kestrel that cut the lonely sky, the dawn of the sea and the sun set behind the hills, endless silences, the generosity of men, and especially its stones (Sassi) that for millennia have taken the time and still holds it.
