Sicily has always been a place where culture and art have found fertile ground, a "factory" where important artists, painters, sculptors and poets have given to our country and the world, works of great value.
Unfortunately today we live in a society almost flat, in which art and culture are increasingly less space in which a young man who want's art is confronted with increasing difficulties. In Sicily, the problem is even more evident, and Plants / A wants to be a means to remedy these shortcomings: propose exhibitions of young authors and do not even promoting exchanges with foreign artists, comparing those with the most successful young artists and promoting the first at the most important Italian and foreign.
In addition to everything FACTORY / A also becomes a place to create exhibitions, thinking and promote culture, thanks to research / laboratory "workshop Garibaldi offers.
With this first event of presentation, the exhibition "small geographies of everyday life," the association FACTORY \ A wants to analyze a first small geography of contemporary art involving established artists along with a selection of some young talent.
This is obviously only an initial investigation which will be followed up to try to get an overview as comprehensive as possible.
