#HEREalCubo
The Creative Community Cavallerizza Irreale proposes in 2018 the third edition of Here, an event dedicated to the artists of each creative area.
#HEREalCubo will build an Unreal Museum, the Living Museum, where art is breathed in the works and lives of people, promoted by a permanent, daily garrison that takes care of the spaces.
This is why we ask all participants to donate a work of art.
The goal is to build an art store, to accommodate a collection of works and documents as a trace and substance of the "Living Museum", which will have to be public and recognized as a good for everyone. A museum that intends to act as a strategic factor for the entire community, subverting the museum tradition through a new institution of collective civic use, totally open and inclusive.
#HEREalCubo proposes to the artists to enter the Creative Community, to compromise themselves, to take a community commitment, to build and propose artistic experiences as a work of art, to build temporary cities among those who propose them, the artist, and the participating public , an integral part of the works themselves. When art is able to reinvent itself a grammar of approach to the whole world and of sharing, when the artist understands the needs of being an artist and protagonist every single spectator becomes an integral part of the work, an ethically higher level is reached which expresses itself through the refusal of the art of being an agent of gentrication, declaring its intrinsically political value.
#HEREalCubo asks the invited artists to feed the rhythm of the creative village, interfacing both with the spaces and with the community, to propose dedicated, environmental and developed works together also through residences and temporary visits within the Cavallerizza. With each artist we will find a space where he can develop his own project on site. The result will be a collection of works that do not "occupy" a space but become an integral part of the landscape-space itself.
The artists of the Presidium of the Creative Community will propose projects in cooperation with other artists within the studies, already active, on the second and third floors of the Cavallerizza Reale, opening the often private and intimate spaces of the artist's studios, to develop the works in a context impregnated with energy and the elements that make up its creative reality.
#HEREalCubo wants to broaden the vision and concept of artwork to all areas of work of the Creative Community, including performative artists of all kinds, asking them to express their talent in relation to spaces and the community.
To widen the Creative Community, to include artists from every area, involving the participating public in an artistic experience, to reclaim the political nature of the community artistic act, are the key words of #HEREalcubo.
The 14.45 Cavallerizza assembly embarked on a path to claim the civic recognition of the Cavallerizza spaces. Civic use means a Cavallerizza for all /, a common good not assigned to any particular subject but a space self-governed by / from the Citizens / is open, accessible and traversable. In this sense, donating a work to the Living Museum means giving one's own art to the community to build a permanent value for the city and for future generations.
