News, Italy, Bologna, 25 December 2011
... And so we have arrived at the end of 2011. It seems like yesterday the beginning of the year, when our 4 "wikiartefici" put you in this endeavor are joining forces in the wake of an ideal: to give birth to one of the largest and respected Contemporary Art Galleries in the center of Bologna , and after a few weeks, in March of this year, was born Wikiarte Gallery.
In a few months (I'm not even past 10) Wikiarte has become what it was in our plans and not only that has already arrived participation in art fairs more 'important in Italy, established artists who know us and that already there are many like literally, we found that emerging and launched before the general public are dozens and dozens. And in a difficult economic situation from an economic standpoint as this also came the sales of many works, the estimate of buyers and collectors, the affection of journalists, critics and many experts.
And 'why we want to express our satisfaction and to thank you, because it's all thanks to people like you that our commitment is to become so, day after day, actually.
And so ...
thanks to all those who have believed in us from the beginning;
thanks to anyone who has discovered along the way and seeing us in the gallery and something different and better than the world of Italian art nowadays offers;
thanks to all our artists to have shared the commitment and success in every direction;
thanks to our Parteners, your support is important for us and your irreplaceable contribution;
thanks to all those who advise us with the affection of those who know we can always do better and grow, when you really have the head on his shoulders, it is natural and inevitable;
thanks also to those who did not want to believe in us, for those who have criticized and sometimes hindered, and those who continue to do so: if we are here is because the obstacles to us fans want to come jump higher ... and surely adore respond to words with the facts (let us take from a few pebbles from shoes ...!)
