BOLOGNA EXPO 2014
( FOURTH EDITION )

The luck of an art critic is to find great talents on their way .
But luck , as Machiavelli said , it is useless if you do not have the virtue of knowing how to take advantage of.
It is with this premise that I love to start my presentations , in order to better understand the reading of the exhibitions that I present , taken to identify and highlight the best of contemporary art , and always made not only of provocation , market and business, but still real and concrete in finding what art history has taught us so far , from the signs to the scriptures , symbols, graffiti , engravings and sculpture , from photography to digital graphics.
In this fourth edition of Expo 2014 presented by Gallery Wikiarte Bologna in Bologna , we will find works incoherent and inconsistent with each other, apparently discordant and different , but related to that fine line that leaves the understanding to achieve the more I unconscious of the viewer, called to let go without dogmas and prejudices front or each individual work .
So what is art ? Charles Pierre Baudelaire was " prostitution " the get naked in front of the public , stripping of their own fears and inhibitions , shaking from cultural and social preconceptions , and this is what the artists have tried to do, to get naked to give pleasure to the viewer and establishing him as the deepest desire of owning and obtaining a cultural enrichment.

Dr. Giorgio Gregorio Grasso.
