Art at the time of shopping centers: 19 artists exhibit at the Silvi Universe
From August 27th to September 3rd exhibition promoted by the Movement of Creative Watch
Chieti - Artistic production and goods can "coexist"? It is the interesting bet proposed
from the cultural association "Movimento del Guardare Creativo" of Chieti, which is at the Center
commercial Universo, of Silvi Marina, promotes an exhibition scheduled from 27 August
(the inauguration scheduled at 17.30) to 3 September next. Thanks to the collaboration with the
structure, the usual visitors of the mall will be able to linger also to
observe the works of nineteen artists exposed in the spaces of the structure that rises to some
kilometer from the famous Torre di Cerrano.
«The idea - explains Gabriella Capodiferro, president of the association, the Watch Movement
Creative - born from a courageous proposal to meet trade and art, where goods and
artistic artifacts can find a common purpose in the search for product quality.
We welcomed the idea of ​​exhibiting in a place where committed art is never
entry, using however the same aesthetic and stylistic rigor of a gallery. We have found in this
proposed an opportunity to meet with a diverse and heterogeneous public, in a direct way
spontaneous".
Nineteen, as mentioned, the artists present: it is Lorella Belfonte, Alfonso Camplone,
Simonetta D'Alessandro, Francesco D'Aponte, Laura De Lellis, Concita De Palma, Giacinta Di
Baptist, Liliana Di Giovine, Marilena Evangelista, Marco Iannetti, Rosa Lisanti, Iva Lombardi,
Maria Masciarelli, Teresa Michetti, Antonio Rucci, Paola Santilli, Deni Scarsi, Nicoletta Testa,
Bruno Torriuolo. To complete then the ideal path that winds around the exhibition, will think the
conference ("Knowing how to read the work of art") that the same Capodiferro will hold on Saturday, September 1, at
17.30, always inside the structure.
The M.G.C. Cultural Association del Guardare Creativo, born in 2008, is inspired by experience
Thirty years of teaching of the homonymous Studio d'Arte of Chieti that has opened the way to the study
perceptive and critical of the work of art through the structural analysis of the composition.
The Association aims to spread the culture of art, as a visual language, among those
loving art and not being able to deepen it through systematic study, they look for opportunities for
know it more. Posing as a meeting place and aggregation in the name of interests
cultural heritage, by refusing a social function of critical maturation and human growth through
the ideal of permanent education aimed at reading the work of art. The Watching Movement
Creativo has made guided tours to exhibitions and museums in Italy and abroad; meetings and conferences
on the perceptive analysis of the work of art; collective exhibitions of the members. He also organized events
cultural events, including the Biennial International Art Biennial, hosted every two years
at the Pescara airport and at the Palazzo dei Nobili in L'Aquila.
