Who was Frida Kahlo's largest Mexican Contemporary Painter died at the age of 47. Born July 6, 1907 even though she claimed to be born in 1910. He died July 13 1954.Figlia Wilhelm Kahlo, German emigrated to Mexico and married to a Mexican woman, a successful photographer. He was a painter from life as never troubled. Nothing stopped her in her short life, the daughter of the Mexican Revolution and modern Mexico. On the culture and traditions of that will shaped his art. His artistic activity has recently had a re-evaluation, especially in Europe with the setting up of numerous exhibitions. Affected by the age of six years with spina bifida, the parents and the people around you mistook for polio (he was also affected her younger sister), showed artistic talent from an early age and an independent spirit and passion, reluctant to any social convention. In 1929 she married the painter Diego Rivera murals, divorced and remarried in 1940 in San Francisco. He had assimilated deliberately naive style that led her to paint small portraits in particular inspired by folk art and pre-Columbian traditions. His intention was clear, using subjects drawn from the native civilizations, say unequivocally their Mexican identity. His complaint was more that they did not have children. His passionate (and discussed at the time) love affair with Rivera is told in a diary. He - the chronicles - many lovers of both sexes, with names that, even at the time, could go unnoticed such as the Russian revolutionary Leon Trotsky and the poet André Breton.
