"Blue as the sky. "
It begins as a fairy tale, gradually becomes a mystery story , eventually turning into fantasy . The Jewelry Box mysterious Maristella Angels fascinates from the first pages , for its ability to transport us to another space-time dimension at the tip of poetry.
The musicality of language Old Norse , the harmony of the description of places and characters, poetic quotations , rhymes and last but not least the depth of the feelings and symbols chosen are just some of the singularities that characterize this original novel. In the foreword the author emphasizes how the protagonist is un'antieroina Azan , humanly fragile but aware of it and that the Kingdom of Darkness , which represents the darkness of the mind, is opposed to that of light , which in turn emblem of ability to see beyond . The Earth is suspended then the inner dimension in which man finds himself when he faces his most arduous journey : the search for himself.
A novel of introspection then? Definitely, but with the pace of the adventure story more compelling. Azan face the forces of evil , worthily represented by the witch Frida and her son Dandel , but also by Saropik orcs , terrifying monsters like giant bats Eaglos , the pi -tone Dekkar and other hellish creatures , brandishing his sword sacred Acrum , built with star dust and fragments of the sacred rock , which manages to kill only the evil , not the person , all this - I'm with the help of an army quite extraordinary and composite , as the people of the Eggar and the Elves of the night, but also the dragon Vogish three fairies and magical objects : a mirror, a bright little button , and even the sacred tree of wisdom, Saspha . There's plenty short and certainly the reader will not even notice that actually reading will be involved in a journey that has me the statistical and analytical . After all, it still says the author , the fantasy is part of the kingdom of light and without it we can never defeat evil .
A fairy world , therefore, that we enter , as described , however, by the Angels with the same poem that closes the narrative, where we will literally dragged dall'invincibile desire to see the triumph of the right , and then finding the needed peace . Not by chance that this will be done live to the reader by the sweet and tender love story with her prince Azan Urban, the faithful and in - namoratissimo companion of adventure. Do not miss the wedding and the occasion of this the author describes in detail and with great detail, the habits and customs of the elven people , as well as the wedding ceremony , with the participation of touching all those who have contributed to the final victory , including magic items .
Missing violence for its own sake , many of which are steeped in fantasy and the stupid , dumb sing praises to the honor of the battle , incitement to war and the overabundance of bloodshed .
A different fantasy then , in a sea of stories more or less always the same and repetitive and it does not matter if this or that character reminds other characters of more or less famous novels , the uniqueness of the mysterious Jewel is based on the fact that , in reality, we are the protagonists . We'll go with Azan in the den of hellish Dandel , it's scary how scary our dark side and defeat him , impaling them with the sacred sword Acrum .
A win like this do not forget : At the end we will feel satisfied and different .
