After several years, one of the most anticipated cultural events in the area returns: DISCORDIA Expo, a young art collective with the aim of uniting emerging and established national artistic movements in a collaborative and creative process. The exhibition is part of larger events (such as Veramiglia or Antica Fiera), helping to raise the profile of national contemporary art in the local community. The exhibition project was conceived by Marco Formigoni, who, with Mirco Mantovani, is co-founder of Dugrez Wood, which curated the exhibition design.
The Expo will be held from September 19 to 22, 2025, at Spazio Benetton at Via Statuto 7, which will be used as a temporary art gallery for the 601st edition of the Antica Fiera in Portomaggiore (FE).
The official opening is scheduled for Friday, September 19, at 5:30 PM. This will be a special moment for authors and visitors, with the opportunity to discover new works and interact with the artists. The event will present an interesting array of artworks, featuring several local and national artists, thanks to the collaboration with the Basilio Cascella National Prize (one of Italy's most prestigious art events since 1955) and the local Paola Occhi Prize (an important national cultural initiative), both curated by Alessandro Passerini, who also oversaw the exhibition design. It will be an opportunity for local and national artists to showcase their talent and creativity, spanning a variety of artistic mediums.
The event is open to all and will take place in a festive atmosphere, making it accessible to art enthusiasts and the curious.
