THE IDEA OF THE SHOW
On the occasion of the Territories dedicated to Italy and Italy of the Future, the monthly "Italian Art", MIT
Italy Art Museum and Gallery Folco, under the patronage and in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture
Sofia, have a cultural and exhibition which will be attended by numerous contemporary artists,
one of the best exponents of the art world today and an overview of some teachers historicized
the main currents of twentieth century.
1. PATH OF CONTEMPORARY ART, BETWEEN TRADITION AND CHANGE. Among contemporary authors,
careful selection of the best contemporary Italian authors and countries that, with our country, have
always had a special relationship to culture, history and tradition. Will be selected works of painting, sculpture,
photography, video art, installations, engravings, ceramics, design, and other disciplines who are witnesses of the beauty and style of Italy and Made in Italy in the world.
2. PATH OF ART historicized. The exhibition also includes a historic, with the presence
some works of art of the twentieth century, period features and trends of the time. Among the authors
that will be chosen as 'spokesman' of their various ages and currents that have shaped this
period of time, there are important works of various authors, including Roberto Crippa, Luigi Spazzapan
Emilio Scanavino, Piero Gilardi, George Claw and other great masters.
TIME AND PLACE OF THE SHOW
From Tuesday, October 16 (opening from 16.00) at Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the beautiful space
Rayko Alexiev museum Community Center, the Ministry of Culture Bulgarian office of the Association of Bulgarian Artists
in Sofia, one of the areas most prestigious cultural and historical capital of the nation.
COMMUNICATION OF THE SHOW
On the occasion of the exhibition will take place a catalog of works and authors present with critical essays, biographies,
curricula, summaries exhibition and publication of the work on display. The catalog will also report the institutional texts
Authorities involved in the project. There are translations of English texts. Will print invitations and posters.
Will be carried out one or more special services of many pages on the magazine "Italy Arts", organizers
event, in numbers that will precede, accompany and follow the exhibition-event, thus giving a
full disclosure of the initiative. Services will also be made of photos and video, edited by Gallery
Folco and Italy Art, to complete the documentation of the event. "Italy Art" will also handle communication
through its Press Office, in partnership with the institutions involved with the creation of folders printing
and communicated, with shipments of mail to thousands of addresses and the publication of the exhibition on the website
www.italiaarte.it and those of the institutions involved.
