Two days to discover the art of handmade bookbinding and learn to create unique books and journals by using needle and thread.
This workshop is ideal to those who love to write, take notes, doodle, gather ideas, images, recipes, various samples, all in very special handmade books.
We will start with very simple structures, made only by folding sheets of paper, and will then go to more elaborate ones which feature decorative sewings.
We will explore various techniques, wester and eastern, modern and traditional.
Cost: € 190 (12 hours, materials included). Any needed tool will be available at the lab.
When: 2 & 3 February 2013, 10 am to 5 pm.
