The Coptic binding, handmade books and journals

A full day to larn how to create books and journals using the coptic sewing binding, a very antique technique that does not require glue, only paper, needle and thread.
The sewing is visible on the book spine, thus adding a strong visual element to the book.
We will explore the main variations, creating small booklets with blank pages, perfect for your drawings, doodles, thoughts, memories, etc...

Cost: € 85 (over 65 and students up to 26 years old € 65).

6 hours, materials included. Tools, if needed, will be available at the lab.

What I would prescribe you do rather is bring your fabric pieces with right sides together and sew all around the outside. Try to read instructions at http://www.dissertationhelpdeal.co.uk/ Leave a little opening to turn the shawl right side out and shut everything down gap either by hand or machine. This will give you a pleasant completed edge without all the work of connected authoritative.
