Cradle of the Renaissance and a worldwide symbol of Art and Culture, every year Florence sees more than a million visitors from all over the world; it is one of the liveliest cities in Europe. A chest full of art treasures, hometown of many important personalities, Florence has been and still is a landmark and a haven for intellectuals and artists, for those who love Art and Culture. Its natural inclination to Arts and beauty makes of Florence a fundamental destination for those artists who see tradition as a powerful whet for their art research.
Having considered all these aspects, Present Contemporary Art organizes, from November 16 to November 28, 2013, the I Edition of Meeting in Florence, an international exhibition – dedicated to new and emerging art trends – that will take place in the prestigious halls of the historical Società delle Belle Arti Circolo degli Artisti "Casa di Dante” (“House of Dante” Fine Arts Society and Artists Circle). Pulsing heart of an organization that has been devoting to endorsement, promotion and diffusion of art for more than 170 years, the House of Dante is a wonderful example of medieval architecture, placed in one of the oldest parts of the historic center, just a few steps away from Piazza della Signoria. This Artists Circle is not only a purely Florentine location, but also an outstanding gathering place for all those experiences and art researches that have been taking place throughout the last two centuries.
