From Wednesday 28th August and the next two Wednesdays , 4:11 September, the Orto de ' Pecci host the fifth edition of the festival , created by Francesco Ravines , "Art in the Garden 2013' . The initiative, funded by the UNICOOP Florence ( members section of Siena) and under the artistic direction of Francesco Antonio Locafaro Ravine and was organized by the cultural Aresteatro in collaboration conil Laboratory of the sonnet , the Arch Siena , the Association Didee , the Prism, Siena Jazz Foundation , Radiolabo and with the patronage of the Municipality of Siena and Siena City nominated for European Capital of Culture , 2019.
The fifth edition of Art in the Garden 2013 will be a total involvement of art, poetry and music in the enchanting valley Orto de ' Pecci , a poetic and imaginative performance that will contribute to creating a path imaginative face to inspect every single image in a new look metaphorical , memory and destination . In the three evenings of 28 August, 11 September and 4 will present the works of painting , sculpture and photographs of eight artists ; these will inspire the poetic writing of the students of the Laboratory of the sonnet , poems, short stories sonnets , read and interpreted by Francesco Ravines Fiammetta Castagnini , Emiliana Provencal and Mila Moretti . The final evening of September 27 will support the " Researchers' Night " , an initiative promoted by the European Commission since 2005, and every year involving thousands of researchers and research institutions in all European countries . For the initiative , the exhibition " Art in the Garden " , in collaboration with the University of Siena and the City of Siena , will offer an evening event "So JAZZntile and so honest it seems ," medieval poetry with jazz . Will be the topics and notes of sweet stilnovo , read and sung by Francis Ravines , virtuously to inspire the artistic interpretation , will take the opportunity for the pianist and violinist Andrea Alessandro Giachero Free.
The exhibition Art in the Garden 2013 will be held on Wednesday August 28 , 4:11 September at the Orto de ' Pecci starting at 19.30 with an aperitif and the visual- poetic performance , followed by dinner at 21.00 (cost 25 euro with alternative menu for vegetarians - reservations required , Orto de ' Pecci info@ortodepecci.it 0577-222201 ) .
