Exhibition, Italy, Ancona, 19 May 2012
On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Capaci massacre, the Municipal DIRECTORS Polverigi organizes 5 to 19 May, at the Church of SS. Sacramento, a group exhibition titled theme: "The color of law", dedicated to the role of magistrates Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino. The initiative realized in collaboration with Libera will promote the development of "legal culture" in respect of '"anti-culture mafia" and the recovery of degraded areas and afflicted by crime and malfeasance. Through the works of some forty Italian artists (some of them present at the Biennale in Venice), the exhibition presents the responses to the battle against criminals and mafia culture in the country. The presentation of the exhibition will be held Saturday, May 5 at the Council Chamber at 17.00 in the presence of local authorities and representatives of the organizing associations, while the inauguration will be the same at 18.00 at the Church of SS. Sacramento. In the remaining days the exhibition, curated by Massimo Volponi, will be open daily from 17.30 to 19.30.
