Luna De Rosa's research is linked to an anthropological, cultural and especially close to performance language and is related to the theme of identity, alienation, and fragility.

"Everyone can play a role and wear a mask of credibility for a period, then go back to vanishing.
Memory is something that in our society tends to vanish, as controlled by technology we are no longer able to deepen and value the importance of the traditions, the origins and above all the history that identify us.
Thoughts that life does not spare, loss, abandonment, violence, fragility are issues that I obsessively express through my own works through different languages:
painting, installation and performance, recreating almost always a dreamlike, dreamy environment , Unreal ... through the use of fragile materials such as plexiglass, glasses, pluriball, smoke .. transparent materials so you can see through things.
The body is an essential part of my work, in paintings it becomes an elusive body that is dispersed, stretched, modified and multiplied. In the performance there is a body enclosed in a space, which can be a sealed cube with honey or labyrinth that has no direction, without a precise goal to reach, but an endless path, or a body wrapped in a cloth like in a chrysalis."
