Biografia

Ilazki de Portuondo (b. 1988 Saint Jean de Luz, Basque Country) is an artist interested in feminist, queer and post-colonial theories. During her ne arts education she took part in SOMATECA, «bio politic production, feminism, queer and trans practices» an independent investigation program in 2012 directed by Paul B. Preciado. She graduated with Excellency from the Museo Nacional de Arte Contemporaneo del Reina So a (MNACRS) in Madrid, Spain. One year later (2013) she graduated with a bachelor of ne arts degree from l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art (ENSA) in Bourges, France. She nalized her formation integrating a post-graduate in Shanghai, China, in the Ecole offshore directed by Paul Devautour to investigate about the creation on a globalized context.
She has developed personal and collective projects in several places such as: Bazaar Compatible program, Shanghai, China; The Villa Croce, Geneva, Italy, Mains d’oeuvres, Paris, France; CNEAI, Chatou, France; Emmetrop, Bourges, France...
Recently she concluded a three month residency in Mexico City led by SOMA (Mexico city) and CAPC (Bordeaux, France) and her rst solo show named «Amores Delicados/ Delicates Lovers» in the IFAL’s gallery (2016).
