Biografia
Anysia Nefissi is a Parisian contemporary artist based in East London. She works on destruction, abstraction, psyche and form. She interrogates the self and the subject. From drawing to painting, music to writing; her practise is kaleidoscopic.
Noticed in 2012 by BétonSalon - Center for Art & Research, Anysia Nefissi specialised in contemporary image and got interested in experimental and alternative forms of representation.
Her painting and drawing approaches aim to destroy the form. Rupture, failure or blur propel the spectator in a psychic scene where visual and inner experiences with a proper language of colour and form, invite to deploy a reconstruction of figurative images, as reminiscences.
